The ADAM system was designed to allow airports to submit their SMS data quickly and easily. Different airports use different SMS cataloging processes and software therefore three methods of data submission are provided. Use the easiest method.

Method 1 – API Integration

An API was created to integrate with the most common SMS platforms. This connects your SMS database directly with ADAM. Email apihelp@adam-sms.org for assistance downloading, configuring, and connecting. Once connected, no additional action is needed, and data will automatically flow to ADAM.

Method 2 – Email Receiver

Many SMS software can send a structured email to tenants or other parties anytime an event occurs. Simply add smsreport@adam-sms.org to your recipient list of all events and our system will read and upload the data automatically. Emails must be semi-structured. Click here for examples.

Method 3 – Web Form

The web form is best for airports that do not use a formal SMS software or whose IT polices prohibit an API or email connection. The web form is simple and easy to use and allows quick entry of SMS data as well as photo uploads. Scroll down or click here access and bookmark the web form.

99% of reports are of "normal" urgency. Urgent reports should be reserved for extremely unlikely incidents (3-sigma events), extant dangers, or other urgent need for notice by others. Urgent notices are submitted to a review queue for human review and potential dissemination to SMS alert subscribers. Improperly tagged reports may be moderated in urgency with a note. Moderation may be appealed by emailing mailto:moderators@adam.nosuchsite.
